Yoga Classes

A Yoga Studio Rooted in Holistic Wellness in Brookfield, IL

Honor Thy Apothecary is a gathering place for the Brookfield community to move with intention and return to themselves. Our yoga classes are held in an intimate studio environment and are open to every level of practice, from complete beginners to those deepening work they have been doing for years.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is where many people begin their practice, and for good reason. It offers a steady, grounded entry point into yoga's core principles: foundational postures, conscious breathing, and the kind of mindful movement that reconnects the body and the mind.

Our Hatha class is open to all levels. Whether you have never stepped onto a mat or you are returning to your practice after time away, you will find a pace here that feels supportive rather than pressured. Each session moves through a variety of foundational poses with clear instruction and time to settle into each shape. Breathing practices are woven throughout, helping students arrive more fully in the body and leave with a genuine sense of calm.

If you have been looking for a yoga class in the Brookfield area where you can build confidence, restore balance, and move at a pace that actually feels good, this is a strong place to start.

Several women perform a forward fold yoga pose on individual mats in a bright studio. Wooden blocks are used as props.

Flow Yoga

Flow yoga builds on the foundations of breath and movement and asks them to work together. In this class, students learn to link postures in sequences that feel continuous and rhythmic, creating an experience that is both physically engaging and deeply settling.

Our Flow class draws from vinyasa principles, weaving together moving sequences, strength-building postures, gentle stretching, and structured relaxation. The result is a practice that energizes and calms at the same time, leaving students feeling clearer and more at ease than when they arrived.

All levels are welcome. If you are newer to flow-style yoga, the instruction will help you find your footing within the sequences. If you have been practicing for a while, you will find plenty of room to deepen and explore. Either way, you will leave having moved well and breathed well, which is the point.
